So while I vilify him greatly for his butchering and abuse of Transformers cannon, etc., I also must accept the fact that I know it's going to be a toy show of bright colors BEFORE I see the flick, thus putting the onus on me, having chosen to pay to see it, to get what joy I can from what I know is coming. Ultimately you're "forgiving the Michael Bay-isms" if you even <em>see</em> the movie, because you knew before going into it that it would be just that: a Michael Bay junkyard. I'll admit, I felt... dirty in the theater. Slimy for having tossed coins in the coffer. You can't do that. If Bay makes crappy movies, you can't just say, "oh that's just Bay being Bay!" and laugh it off. This idiot should be vilified until he's run off the planet and stops making movies. He sucks. And obviously his movie does too, because you and everyone else review it so poorly, which is the right thing to do, I just feel like he continues to get a free pass by a lot of people (not necessarily here) when he shouldn't.
