I couldn't make it to their show at the El Mocambo a few years back and regretted not going then. I haven't listened to the new release but their previous three are solid power-pop albums. That, and I find the Phoenix to be a fun venue make it worthwhile to me. I’ll probably get tickets for the Cribs show. Yeah people are going to be spitting over that one maybe even more than Die Stadt Muzikanten. But yeah... violin is rising up in the indie scene once again. I remember seeing Pallett a year or two ago and thinking how weird it was that he had a theatre of younger indie fans captivated by a classical instrument. Beauty! Haha, Will.
