Good stuff! My friend Andrew, who we couldn’t find because he was in a back room somewhere, made a game called ‘Throw That Fight’ wherein your objective was to lose a fixed old-tyme boxing match but make it look believable. Genius.

I played ‘Throw That Fight” last night and at TO Jam itself. It’s really fun. It’s an anti-rhythm game… very hard… I kept winning and getting game over by doing too well in the fight!

Best thing from last night was, I can’t remember the games name, but it had two Ryu’s fighting other ninjas, and at one point they join together to fly across the screen on a unicorn and rainbow ala’ ambiguously gay duo. Epic. lol

Much love to Dorkshelf for coming to both our events and supporting us! We’ll keep you posted on the website game releases. Keep gamin’ in the meantime, and see you at the next indie event, i’m sure!

Congrats to all the participants this year. There were some excellent and very creative games made from scratch!

It’s incredibly difficult to make a game at all in just three days, let alone one that is interesting and fun. TOJam really reflects the creativity, skill and resiliency of indie developers in Toronto.

Thanks to Dork Shelf for representing!

@SA1NT: You’re thinking of Rise of the Olive by The Procrastinators. They’ve been rocking out all five TOJams.

Joel, I can clearly see myself on the video, right side of the screen at 5:46. You have no excuse for missing me.

Did I miss ya again last night at the arcade?

I wasn’t with the film crew the whole time! They must have found your secret room by 8:00 when I had left already. Secret I say!
