Glad you liked the show Adam.

Yes, Eclipse is a cinematic abomination... I'm sorry you'll have to suffer like I did.

Regarding the PS3 backwards compatibility removal, I think it was always a price concern for Sony. The original PS3's were really expensive... I spent way too much on mine. The first gen systems literally had PS2 hardware inside of them, it was hardware based emulation. This probably cost them a little bit more, so they scrapped it. Sony then released a few models that had software emulation, basically just using the PS3 hardware to emulate the old games... but then they eliminated that as well. The did this about the same time they started selling old PS1 classics on the Playstation Store, and they're probably soon going to be releasing full fledged PS2 games as download only. They don't care if you already own it, they want you to pay for it again, for the convenience of playing it on your PS3.

Shitty and/or genius business move, but really nothing when you compare it to the kind of stuff Microsoft has pulled on their customers.

Another entertaining podcast and a good start to season 2, guys!

Will: You mean I shouldn’t expect a masterpiece when I inevitably get dragged to see Eclipse!? Good to know.

Also, you only passed over it in the podcast but what are your thoughts on Sony removing reverse-compatibility in the PS3? I was surprised they chose to drop it after the first few models. Why take away a software feature you’ve already implemented?

I will listen to this when I get the chance. I haven't seen any of the Twilight movies, but I'm bizarrely interested to see what a guy thinks about that crappy series. My podcast is just girls bashing Twilight.
