I kid, I kid... I've always loved both franchises. Cut my RTS teeth on the original Command & Conquer, graduated to <em>Warcraft II</em> and played the original <em>Starcraft</em> until <em>Red Alert 2</em> and the more recent <em>C&C</em> games came out. You should try <em>Starcraft II</em> though dude, it's pretty great... at least that was the impression I got from playing the beta. I cast thee out Gavin!

I kid, I kid… I’ve always loved both franchises.
Cut my RTS teeth on the original Command & Conquer, graduated to Warcraft II and played the original Starcraft until Red Alert 2 and the more recent C&C games came out.

C&C: Red Alert (1) is among my favourite PC games ever invented. Even bought the expansion packs, Counterstrike and Aftermath. Believe it or not (you won't believe it), I have never played Starcraft.
