CONTEST: Win 1958′s THE FLY on Blu-Ray!

The Fly - 1958

Hey guys! We’re back to regularly scheduled programming after the TIFF madness of the past few weeks, so we wanted to celebrate our return with some great contests! First, we team up with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to give away two copies of one of our favourite old school horror films, 1958’s classic and original THE FLY on Blu-Ray!

When a scientist (David Hedison) attempts to transfer matter through space, things go horrifically wrong and two grotesque man-fly hybrids are created. Now, with the head of a fly and a wing in place of one of his arms, the scientist desperately hopes that he, his wife (Patricia Owens) and his brother (Vincent Price) can capture the other mutant and reverse the experiment.

The Fly Blu-ray includes commentary with actor David Hedison and film historian David Del Valle as well as a biography on Vincent Price.

Be sure to follow Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment on Twitter  @FoxHomeEnt for the latest Blu-ray & DVD releases

The Fly Blu RayThe Fly is available on Blu-Ray now, but here’s what you can do to win a copy of your very own:

Simply email contest@dorkshelf.com with the answer to the following trivia question in the subject line:

In what year was The Fly remade by David Cronenberg, and starring Jeff Goldblum?

Please only one email per household. Multiple entries will be deleted. Contest is open to all residents of Canada and the US only. For additional chances to win, simply like the contest announcement on our Facebook page and/or re-Tweet the announcement from our Twitter! Deadline for entries is 11:59pm on Friday, September 27th.

Good luck and remember to stay tuned to Dork Shelf for all the latest news, reviews, interviews, features, and more great contests!
