Old Bits lists games released one, two, or three years ago. These are games you may have wanted to get around to when they were released, and can now find used or at a discount.
Didn’t have time or money for Prince of Persia last year, or Sam & Max: Season One two years ago? Now is probably a good time to catch up because, as Andre, Old Bits’ creator, notes, “video games seem to have the greatest run up and fall in prices.”
Myself, I often wait to buy games and have been for a while. Not only does it save money, but it also lets you see whether a game is worthwhile, of if it’s just a flash in the pan.
