The first trailer for the Nimród Antal directed, Robert Rodriguez produced sci-fi actioner Predators has hit the web. Starring Adrien Brody (The Pianist, The Village) and Topher Grace (In Good Company, Spider-Man 3), the film is a true sequel to the original Predator films in tone as well as spirit. Let’s put those loathsome Alien vs Predator films behind us, shall we? The film is set on a planet that has been designed as a game preserve, pitting the best modern warriors of Earth up against numerous intergalactic hunters.
The film features a multinational cast that includes Laurence Fishburne, Alice Braga and Danny Trejo. Also, if reports are to believed Arnold Schwarzenegger may have a cameo as Dutch from the original John McTiernan film. No word if it will be a computer generated cameo akin to his appeareance in last year’s Terminator: Salvation or an actual walk-on; the Governator is a busy man so I’d bank on the former.
